Major Brands Added to the US Accepted Poker Rooms List

(PRWeb) November 22, 2006 -- Compatiblepoker.com is reporting that major brand names in the online poker market have joined hands to create a new Network of sites accepting US players. The reports and updates were made last night at US accepted poker rooms was also modified.

The first looks at this new poker Network / software were seen roughly around 4:30pm last night. Full Contact Poker was the first poker site to put the beta in place. Americas Cardroom and Alamo poker are expected to be next but many believe they will not have access to the software until a few weeks.

According to CompatiblePoker the software is similar to the Ongame software most widely recognized as the software PokerRoom.com used. During the after math of the US gambling law many left Ongame in search of a software provider that would allow US players. This new Network has yet to be named but the software is now in place.

This new Network will have to keep up with PokerStars.com which has quickly become the largest poker room on the internet due to US acceptance. Player volume numbers have increased dramatically.

Because Compatiblepoker is a Mac oriented site they are also reporting news about the Mac poker rooms. This "New Network" that these sites will be running on are reported as not being Mac compatible. "This is a huge loss to us Mac users," said one Mac player from the States. Mac users are now left with 1 major brand that has Mac capabilities.

The USA online poker room news is still being tracked hour after hour for latest news breaks at www.compatiblepoker.com/usa.php . More frequent special reports are expected as the 270 time period counts down for financial transaction sites in the gaming business.
